Davy Perez is currently the Executive Story Editor on the long running series Supernatural for the CW. Prior to this he was as a Staff Writer on the first two seasons of the Emmy Award winning ABC series American Crime, created by Oscar winner John Ridley, where Davy wrote and produced two episodes of the anthology series.

Born on Halloween night in East Los Angeles, Davy is the third of seven children. Performing for his siblings would lead to Davy attending the Playhouse West Repertory School and Theater to study acting. Davy went on to teach drama at the Los Angeles Music & Arts School and would write original children’s plays for the students. He also played guitar with local garage bands, worked as a Background Extra, a Set PA, a Production Coordinator, and eventually landed in Drama Development at both ABC Studios and Universal Cable Productions. He was a Writers PA for the short lived ABC show My Generation and EP Assistant on the groundbreaking first season of Fargo on FX.

Davy was a participant in the 2014 Disney ABC Writing Program. In 2013 he was selected for a NALIP/HBO Latino Writer Fellowship with the original pilot script Necro Noir, a work inspired by his love of horror fiction.
